Methodology

Every factual claim carries provenance: where it came from, which patch it was true for, the date it was checked, and a confidence level. The build enforces this — a luminary page missing sources fails to compile.

Confidence levels

verified
Reproduced in-game, or stated in official patch notes.
probable
Datamined, or multiple independent sources agree.
unverified
Single source, plausible, untested. Most third-party guide content lands here.
disputed
Sources conflict. Both are shown; we do not average them or silently pick one.

A claim shows the confidence of its weakest source, not its best.

Pre-global data from Asian servers

Many games launch in China, Japan or Korea months before global. Those servers are the best available evidence before a global release, and their communities datamine far more rigorously than the English SEO sites do. We use them — with two hard rules.

  1. Every cross-region claim is labelled and capped.A source records which server it was observed on. Patch numbers do not line up across regions and launch balance often differs, so a foreign-server claim can never be marked verified for this site — the schema downgrades it to probable automatically and the page shows a server badge.
  2. We take numbers, not sentences.Multipliers, cooldowns and drop rates are facts and are free to use. A guide's written analysis is not: a translation is a derivative work and infringes exactly as much as copying it in English would. All prose here is written from scratch.

On copyright

Game data — stats, multipliers, drop rates — are facts, and facts are not copyrightable. Other sites' prose, tier rationales, layouts and screenshots are. We cite and link them as sources; we do not reproduce them. All analysis here is written from scratch.
